PumpBase finds the best pumps for your fluid conveyance application. You can refine your selection by specifying up to 40 selection criteria. PumpBase's database contains thousands of curves from dozens of participating pump manufacturers. Operation:
View all pumps by default. As you add restrictions, the database is filtered for those criteria. Optionally specify operating point data TDH (total dynamic head) and operating flow to select pumps whose operating envelopes include the operating point. Specify NPSHA (Net Positive Suction Head Available) to restrict selection to pumps whose NPSH required is adequate for operation. Specify (or select) liquid property data to obtain pumps that can provide the required flow and TDH. Enter just the pumped liquid properties and view pump curves with viscosity corrections applied. Manual correction factors can be specified and applied to stocks, slurries and other liquids. Specify additional selection criteria such as specific manufacturer, curve key, series/model, speed, 60/50 Hz, max sphere size, pump orientation (horizontal, vertical, in-line, side-suction, end-suction), application type (fire, well, process, sludge/slurry, dewatering, sewage, wastewater, HVAC), features (portable, submersible, split-case, solids handling, non AC powered, self-priming, high temperature, high corrosive, ANSI, ISO 2858). |

Synchro is a macroscopic analysis and optimization software application. Synchro supports the Highway Capacity Manual’s methodology (2000 & 2010 methods) for signalized intersections and roundabouts. Synchro’s signal optimization routine allows user to weight specific phases, thus providing users more options when developing signal timing plans. SimTraffic is a powerful, easy-to-use traffic simulation software application. SimTraffic performs micro-simulation and animation of vehicular and pedestrian-related traffic. With SimTraffic, individual vehicles are modeled and displayed traversing a street network. SimTraffic models signalized and unsignalized intersections, as well as freeway sections with cars, trucks, pedestrians, and buses. Unlike a number of other modeling applications, SimTraffic animation is displayed while the simulation is performed. Data entry is intuitive and efficient. With a single mouse click, any data set created with Synchro can be used to run simulations within SimTraffic.
Using the 3D Viewer application within SimTraffic, users can automatically generate a three-dimensional view of any two-dimensional model. Use either the supplied models in the viewer’s library or add your own .3ds models to customize your scene. It is as close to reality as you can get without standing in the middle of an intersection.
Warrants is an easy-to-use product that enables traffic professionals to determine whether a traffic signal is needed for an intersection. Warrants will evaluate an entire network of intersections at once, capturing multiple volume time periods for each intersection. Layout and volume information can be imported from Synchro for easy model setup.
TripGen originally developed by Microtrans, is a simple, easy-to-use tool that calculates trip generation based on version 9 of the Institution of Transportation Engineer’s Trip Generation Manual. The analyst can select the desired independent variable and then calculate driveway volumes by using the rates or equations found in the Trip Generation Manual. Pass-by trips and internal capture trips for mixed-use developments (NCHRP 684) can also be taken into account. The software allows users to enter custom trip rates based on local or regional studies. Several reports are available for users to quickly review calculations. Future versions of the software will be integrated with Synchro, thus significantly reducing the time required to analyze traffic impacts. |

Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 Extensions
The DACH Extension for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 provides a suite of tools to work with common German standards such as REB & OKSTRA, Country/directive standards checks, roadway edges and flare design, ellipsoidal road dividers, lane widening, bus bays, embankment slope, legend manager, reports and other utilities. The DACH Extension consists of the following features: common German standards such as REB & OKSTRA; country/directive standards checks; roadway edges and flare design; ellipsoidal road dividers; lane widening; bus bays; embankment slope; legend manager; reports; surface analyses file exchange, import export and copy to another surface; drawing frame grid to viewports; simple 2D slope pattern hatches between 2 polylines or feature lines.
The Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 Extension for Civil View is intended to be used in conjunction with the existing Export to Civil View for 3ds Max Design option in Civil 3D and provides the ability to add Civil 3D alignment, profile and pipe network data to your Civil View model in Autodesk 3ds Max Design. Key features of this extension - create additional .vsp3d files containing alignment, profile and pipe data to add to the Civil View models in 3ds Max Design (there is no limit to the number of VSP3D files which can be referenced from a single Civil View project).
The Autodesk Bridge Module 2015 enables users to create bridge models based on critical geometry in the Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D corridor model and existing ground surface. Users can also create Civil 3D alignments and profiles from key bridge strings such as bottom of lowest girder or top of barrier. Finally, users can quickly transition bridge parameters created in the Civil 3D version of this Bridge Modeler into the Autodesk Revit Structure Bridge Modeling extension (REX) where additional modeling can be accomplished.
The Autodesk Geotechnical Module 2015 is designed to integrate geotechnical data with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 and provides the ability to build and manage complex Civil 3D surfaces and profiles in geotechnical data into BIM workflows. The Autodesk Geotechnical Module consists of the following features: import borehole data; create 3D borehole modules; display 2D borehole strip diagrams; display 2D borehole diagrams on Civil 3D profiles based on a buffered alignment; create and manage Civil 3D surfaces based on borehole data.
The Microdrainage Utility for Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 provides the ability for AutoCAD Civil 3D Pipe Networks to be renamed and exported to SWS/FWS format for analysis within WinDes System 1 and then imported to update the pipe network in AutoCAD Civil 3D to create a 3D model of drainage network as well as product plans, sections and pipe and structure schedules. Key features of this extension: utility to aid the renaming of the pipe network to WinDes naming convention; export pipe network to SWS and FWS file format; import and update existing network from SWS/FWS; prefix and suffix to pipe naming; change pipe network style.
The Autodesk Rail Layout Module consists of the following features: import switches from customizable library of switch content onto Civil 3D alignments; append additional alignment elements to construct geometrically accurate rail track alignments; modify switch library to meet project requirements. |
